The Programs

AR Classroom™
Augmented reality collides with traditional teaching methods. AR Classroom™ takes students on a four-step learning journey. It encompasses learning a musical concept, experiencing that learning through augmented reality, re-creating the musical concept then building their own interactive AR experience to house their project.

AR Classroom™ Features

3 Sessions
Each focuses on
real-world topics incorporating traditional music theory delivered using practical augmented reality experiences.

Module based
AR Classroom has been designed so it can be implemented using a module-based approach.

Instructional videos
Learn about DAW, notation and augmented reality software (both paid and free versions) using these videos.

Creative and composition tasks
The program incorporates AR learning experiences and tasks in creativity and composition, as well as opportunities for students to create their own augmented reality experiences.

GameComposer™
Get ready for students to experience video game composition and creation from the 1970s to today. Using GameComposer™, students learn the cultural, social and historical aspects of the genre while acquiring the aural, analytical and compositional techniques that go hand in hand with this hugely popular topic.

GameComposer™ Features

8 Sessions
Each one focuses on a famous game and the composer behind it, analyses the techniques they used, and the concepts in their music.

Sequential or module based
GameComposer has been designed so that it can be implemented sequentially or using a module-based approach.

Instructional videos
There are videos demonstrating DAW and notation software, including Garageband (including for iPad), Mixcraft, Soundtrap, Bandlab, Musescore, Noteflight and Sibelius.

Creative and composition tasks
Students discover how to create music for game characters and action scenes, and how to make that music memorable.

Studio Sessions™
Bring the world of sound production and the recording studio to your classroom. Studio Sessions takes students on a journey as they create a dance track, compose a ringtone, make a remix and produce a film soundtrack.

Studio Sessions™ Features

These are divided into Be A Producer, Be An Audio Engineer and Be A Film Composer units.

Sequential or module based
This program can be implemented sequentially or using a module-based approach.
