Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. Information on how to participate in the Keyboard Evolution, Studio Sessions, TrackFormers and GameComposer Competitions form part of these Terms and Conditions.

  2. Offer is open to Australian residents (individuals or schools) participating in the MusicEDU programs only.  Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, resellers and distributors of the Promoter and their agencies and the actual participating outlets are ineligible.

  3. Participants must be aged between 12 and 16 years as of the 1st December 2018.

  4. Promotional Period: 1 September 2019 to 15 November 2019. Entries received before or after this date will be deemed invalid and ineligible to be judged. Winners will be announced via the MusicEDU website on 22 November 2019.

  5. Prizes & models are subject to change and availability.

  6. Participants are able to participate in all categories – a separate Entry/Upload must be submitted for each Category.

  7. For an Entry to be valid Participants must: 

    1. Upload their entry to the UPLOAD ZONE of the website. No entries will be accepted by email or any other means.

    2. Be a registered student of the MusicEDU website portal.

    3. Submit a Ringtone or Remix in mp3 format or Submit a video of their performance of one of the songs/repertoire pieces from the Studio Sessions & Keyboard Evolution Workbook; for TrackFormers students, submit a video of beat-matching live (TrackFormers Tracks only) or creating your own mix (free choice appropriate repertoire). For GameComposer students, submit 
      Any other repertoire submissions will be ineligible.

  8. Participants may win prizes in more than one category.

  9. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail.

  10. The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions.

  11. Prizes decided by the Promoter are not transferable or assignable.

  12. Please allow 30 days from the date that the winners are announced on the website for prize receipt.

  13. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any participant for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or for tampering with the entry process.

  14. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), or for a personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participation in this promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

  15. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter respects the privacy of all personal information collected during the course of the promotion and the Promoter will deal with all personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and its privacy policy. The Promoter collects participants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If you consent to the Promoter doing so, the Promoter may also use the information contained within the entry to conduct future marketing and promotional activities. This may include sending you information with respect to the Promoter’s products and services and future promotions in any manner including via electronic messages. The Promoter may also share the personal information contained within the entry with its service providers who have agreed to protect the privacy of this information.

  16. All mp3 & video entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter has the absolute right and permission to use or publish the mp3s, videos & photograph(s) referred to in any medium, throughout the world, without any restriction whatsoever as to the nature of the use or publication or as to the copy of any printed matter accompanying the video/photograph(s). Images may be edited or altered and the participant waives the right to approve of any finished product. The participant does not own the copyright of the video/photograph(s).
