Get involved in The MusicEDU Semester 2 Competition to be in the running to WIN incredible prizes!
It's in the details...
Entries Close: Midnight, Friday 15 November 2019
Category 1: PERFORMANCE
You're a Star!
Showcase your performance skills with a piece from the MusicEDU repertoire* as a soloist or with your friends in a group ensemble!
*All performances from the Keyboard Evolution or Studio Sessions repertoire must include the use of the Auto-accompaniment feature or backing track.
Are you a DJ?
Show us your beatmatching skills using two TrackFormers tracks of the same BPM.
All participants in the performance category must give a short verbal introduction to their performance which will include their name and school, plus the piece they are going to perform. Upload your entries with a link to the video in the Upload Zone, and be in the running to win the MusicEDU Semester 2 Competition!
Category 2: COMPOSITION
Between you and me, we both know you’re truely a creative genius. The MusicEDU team would love to hear your original work, so here it is... your chance to show us your incredible compositions and go in the running to win big prizes!
All compositions are accepted, but here are a couple of ideas to inspire you with what to create:
Do you love the ringtone you created in Session 3 of Studio Sessions? Submit the MP3 file (which is 20 to 50 seconds in duration) to the Upload Zone and be in the running to win! (C’mon, we both know your ringtone is better than ‘marimba’)
Create your remix and take a video of the live performance (up to 3 minutes max). Add samples/sounds/loops to a TrackFormers track or mix your favourite songs! Make sure your song choices are classroom appropriate ;)
In all submissions: Introduce yourself, your school and tell us a bit about your mix.
