1. Why should we have 12 keyboards to participate?
Ideally every student should have their own keyboard, however the program can be delivered by splitting the class or having two students per keyboard.
2. Why should the keyboards be less than 7 years old?
As you wouldn’t expect the students of today to be using a 10 year old computer, the technology and sound quality of recent keyboards has improved significantly. Students respond positively to the modern technology designed for their capability, rather than old or basic technology. If you are planning to update your technology and would like to start the program in the meantime, please feel free to contact us as many schools have chosen this option to get started with a view to upgrading keyboards at a later date.
3. My keyboards are old and/or don't have the record function, can I still do the program?
Yes, you will still be able to do the program as long as you have access to Computers with the appropriate above software.
4. Why must we book-list the student workbook?
The student workbook is designed for them to use and write in. By book-listing the book it also enables MusicEDU to ensure the repertoire remains current, copyright is administered correctly and teachers feedback can be included with each new edition.
5. Why is there an annual internet license fee?
The annual internet license fee gives the music staff access to the resources available for your program, as well as all your students access to the student portal. Similar to the workbook, the website is constantly being updated to ensure the programs are continually improving, evolving and maintaining relevance.
6. How do we book-list the book?
Some schools have all inclusive fees and are used to the process of book-listing – others have never done this before. We give the school the opportunity to make a small profit out of the student workbooks that can help raise much needed funds for the music department. Some schools decide to subsidise the student workbook from and others have to provide the book to the students straight directly from their current budget. We have worked with all scenarios and can accommodate each of these arrangements. Contact us to discuss further
7. Do we have to purchase equipment through MusicEDU?
